Details

This is a seminal item in the history of the T Shirt – the first logo T ever made, here shown in its original green colour. It was featured in the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz, worn by a group of Munchkins who at one point were trying to repair the Scarecrow. The word OZ came from a filing cabinet owned by L. Frank Baum, the writer of the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, that has O-Z on it, next to another with A-N on it. We think he made the right choice!
